Toro SAE 30 4-cycle engine oil passed the strictest requirements in thousands of hours of testing in hundreds of engines before you filled your lawn mower. It is a high quality detergent oil that meets or exceeds American Petroleum Intstitute requirements SJ. It meets or exceeds performance requirements of all OEM engines (Toro, Briggs and Stratton, KOLHER, Honda, and Tecumseh). The oil protects the engine by not only lubricating, but also cooling, cleaning and seaing internal moving parts. No additional addititves are needed or recommended.
