This blue PEX-A pipe is designed for easy identification within a piping system and can be joined using either expansion or crimp, clamp, or sleeve methods. It is also compatible with Tectite by Apollo push-to-connect fittings and can be heat-repaired if kinked during installation, reducing the need for additional repair connections. The PEX-a tubing has a shape memory that allows it to shrink to its normal size after expansion, resulting in strong, durable, and reliable ASTM F1960 fitting connections. Additionally, its maximum cross-linking increases flexibility and reduces the likelihood of cracking.
