DIG offers a smart and sustainable solar powered irrigation timer with 3/4 in. anti-siphon valve, powered solely by ambient light (solar) and doesn't use batteries or an AC power source. The ECO1 requires no direct sunlight and can obtain enough power from surrounding light to operate both day and night in any weather condition. In addition, the ECO1 employs 20 preset SimpleSmart programming which automatically adjusts daily irrigation schedules and help eliminate over and under watering - ensuring a healthy landscape while saving water.
Utilizing green technology, this irrigation timer relies solely on solar power, eliminating the need for backup batteries or AC power. It is ideal for both drip and sprinkler systems, and features a professional grade 3/4 in. anti-siphon valve. No direct sunlight is required and it is compatible with rain sensors. The watering frequency can be easily programmed for any or all days of the week, with up to 5 start times per day, making it adaptable to the varying needs of your plants. It can run for 1 minute to 6 hours and has the ability to automatically adjust for seasonal changes using simple smart technology. Daily or monthly restrictions, in compliance with city and municipal watering ordinances, can also be set. The power level meter indicates the approximate charge, and the timer display shows when a program is running and if any programming features are active. It also has an on/off button for added convenience and energy conservation, as the timer screen will automatically turn off after fifteen minutes.
