The RIDGID MegaPress Compact 3/4 in. jaw was developed jointly and tested with the Viega MegaPress Pipe Fittings. This jaw when used with a RIDGID Press Tool (RP 241, RP 210, RP 240, RP 200, RP 100) and Viega MegaPress Fitting joins 3/4 in. commercially available Schedule 5-40 steel pipe. The jaw can press steel and black iron pipe. Pressing allows you to save time by pressing on wet systems and eliminates the need for a hot work permit since the process is flameless.
