Make the transition from PVC pipe to distribution tubing or dripline with the 1/2 in. X 1/2 in. Slip PVC Compression Adapter. To install, simply slide the 1/2 in. fitting onto PVC pipe and solvent weld for a watertight connection; insert 1/2 in. supply tubing into the compression ring on the other side, where an internal barb holds the tubing in place. This adapter is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), treated with UV inhibitors to prevent cracking.

- Connects to 1/2 in. PVC pipe on one end, 1/2 in. distribution tubing or dripline with outside diameter of 0.620 in. on the other end
- Insert PVC pipe into 1/2 in. opening; insert 1/2 in. distribution tubing or dripline into the compression ring, where an internal barb will compress the tube to hold it in place
- Make the transition from PVC pipe to distribution tubing; solvent weld for a watertight connection
- Compression ring creates a watertight seal; internal barb that compresses the inserted tubing to hold it in place; unlike a barbed fitting, the tubing is not stretched out to connect to the fitting
- Compression ring is color-coded for easy identification: blue fits 0.710 in. tubing with 0.710 in. OD; black fits 5/8 in. tubing with 0.700 in. OD; green fits 1/2 in. tubing with 0.620 in. OD
